Tim Scott Launches Presidential Campaign, Trump Says: ‘Good Luck!’

Tim Scott, the United States Senator from South Carolina, has officially announced his candidacy for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, making him the sixth Republican to formerly run.

“Under President Biden, our nation is retreating away from patriotism,” Scott announced at his launch rally in South Carolina, adding, “We live in the land where it is absolutely possible for a kid raised in poverty in a single-parent household in a small apartment to one day serve in the People’s House and maybe even the White House.”

Scott’s aides have claimed that the Senator has raised upwards of $22 million for his campaign thus far, reports the New York Times, and will begin airing TV ads in Iowa and New Hampshire this week as part of a $5.5 million ad buy, scheduled to run until late August.

His campaign is expected to push for reduced government spending, reduced immigration, restricted access to abortion, and strong support for the Second Amendment.

Former President and Republican frontrunner Donald Trump announced upon the news of Scott’s campaign:

“Good luck to Senator Tim Scott in entering the Republican Presidential Primary Race. It is rapidly loading up with lots of people, and Tim is a big step up from Ron DeSanctimonious, who is totally unelectable. I got Opportunity Zones done with Tim, a big deal that has been highly successful. Good luck Tim!”

Biden’s 14th Amendment Debt Ceiling Case is Nonsense. Here’s Why.

President Joe Biden – or rather, the people around him – are convinced they can use the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution to circumvent negotiations with Congressional leaders over the debt ceiling. This executive overreach is both counter to Democrat claims of “respecting Congress” and legally bunk.

Jonathan Turley explains on his website:

Their argument for it is based on Section 4 of the 14th Amendment, which states, “The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned.”

The drafters of this amendment did not want Congress to simply dismiss its obligations to pay off the Union’s debts from the Civil War. Although the amendment is not limited to those debts, it has nothing to do with debt ceilings set by Congress. Default, after all, is not a denial of the validity of debt, but rather a refusal or failure to pay debts in time despite their validity.

“I’m looking at the 14th Amendment as to whether or not we have the authority — I think we have the authority,” Biden told reporters at a press conference in Hiroshima, Japan. “The question is, could it be done and invoked in time that it would not be appealed, and as a consequence past the date in question and still default on the debt. That is a question that I think is unresolved.”

‘Draft Tucker Carlson PAC’ Slapped Down.

A political action committee (PAC) called Draft Tucker Carlson is pushing for the former primetime Fox News host to run for president next year, claiming, “Republicans need a new leader, and Tucker Carlson is ready to lead.”

The PAC, which has already filed papers with the Federal Election Commission, released an ad last Thursday, under the title: “It’s time to draft Tucker Carlson.”

“Tucker Carlson is witty, sharp, and mocks woke nonsense” and “will whip Biden in a debate,” the PAC’s ad claims.

“No one in America is more articulate and pins down leftists in both parties better than Tucker,” it adds.

PAC Chairman former Texas congressional candidate and GOP donor Chris Ekstrom, told The Hill: “If Tucker Carlson entered the race in a reasonable amount of time and just continued in the same territory that he was covering at Fox, I think that’d be a rude awakening for both President Trump and Governor DeSantis.”

Carlson’s lawyer Harmeet Dhillon slapped the idea down this weekend, tweeting, “As Tucker’s attorney, I can unequivocally state that this PAC is unauthorized, that the people running it didn’t get his permission to use his name/likeness, and that it would be fruitless to contribute to such a PAC.”

UK Imported Record 1M Migrants Last Year But Media Still Scream: ‘More’!

Net migration to the United Kingdom is already at record-breaking levels. Now, Britain’s corporate media is demanding far more.

In an editorial headlined ‘it’s time for Tories to admit that Britain needs foreign workers’ – Guardian sister paper the Observer bemoaned the fact the new statistics will likely trigger “an arbitrary debate about whether levels of immigration are too high that is divorced both from economic realities and public opinion.”

The Observer claims that the current record-breaking levels of immigration are not “out of step with public opinion”, though this is at odds with years of YouGov trackers, which indicate that, as of May 1st 2023, 57 per cent of Britons think immigration over the last 10 years has been “too high,” against 17 per cent who think it has been “about right” and just 11 per cent who think it has been “too low” – with the “too high” figure rising to 62 per cent when only working-class and lower-middle-class social grades are considered.

One unequivocally accurate statement in the Observer editorial, however, is that “high net-migration numbers are a feature, not a bug of government policy,” despite Conservative Party rhetoric on reducing numbers.

Britain’s Conservative Party promised ahead of the 2010, 2015, and 2017 general elections to cut net immigration “from the hundreds of thousands to the tens of thousands”. It now stands at over a million a year.

London Mayor’s Transport Team Bans Whites from Internships.

Transport for London (TFL) – the government arm responsible for travel across Britain’s capital city – has banned white people from applying to internships. The organization – whose chairman is London Mayor Sadiq Khan – now only accepts applications from only ethnic minorities.

The organization’s website states, to apply to the Stuart Ross Communications Internship, “you must be of Black, Asian and minority ethnic background, defined as having some African, Afro-Caribbean, Asian or other non-white heritage.”

The Stuart Ross Internship has been excluding “non-whites” for a number of years already, with many graduates of the scheme going on to work in a number of industries including local government and the Metropolitan Police.

This is not the first instance of white people being banned from trainee positions in the UK. The BBC forbade white Britons to apply to one of its media trainee positions in 2021.

Vacancies that exclude white people are lawful in the United Kingdom under the guise of “positive action.” The Equality Act (2010) allows companies to exclude white candidates provided it addresses “under-representation or disadvantage” – yet no solid legal definition of those terms exists.

WATCH: Biden’s Occult-Obsessed Monkeypox Tsar Takes BDSM Strut onto Vegas Biomedical Conference Stage.

Recent footage shows the White House’s National Monkeypox Response Deputy Coordinator, Dr. Demetre Daskalakis, strutting onto stage at the annual Biomedical HIV Prevention Summit last month wearing bondage straps around his waist and shoulders.

Dr. Daskalakis – the disturbing habits of whom The National Pulse first reported on last year –  can be seen walking in front of two half-naked men. The Vegas HIV summit was sponsored by Gilead, Janssen, Mistr, QCare, and ViiV Healthcare.

WATCH:

An Appreciation of Satan.

First reported last year after his White House appointment under Biden, Dr. Daskalakis is famous for his obsession with the occult, Satanism, and his pentagram tattoo which reads, “I have learned there is light even in the darkest places.”

Dr. Daskalakis and his gay partner post incessantly about their demonic hobbies. The pair even opened up a Satanic-themed gym in New York, reported on by the New York Times, with an advertisement reading “We’ll Steal Your Soul.”

Daskalakis’s work has been lauded by gay magazine The Advocate, which published another Biden hire – Sam Brinton – defending a website called ‘Rent Boy’ that was known for connecting older homosexual men with boys. Brinton was recently arrested as a fugitive from justice.

The Advocate recently warned about another monkeypox surge, on the front cover of its print edition featuring Biden’s Transport Secretary Pete Buttigieg’s partner Chasten.

The full conference program in all its weirdness can be viewed here:

Dominion CEO Says Company Will Soon Collapse, ‘We’re Not Worth the Hassle’.

John Poulos, the CEO and founder of Dominion Voting Systems, has mysteriously predicted the company’s collapse as the “damage Dominion has endured [following the 2020 presidential election] is just too severe,” despite their Fox News payday.

Poulos believes that regardless of the recent Fox News defamation victory, which saw the news outlet pay Dominion $787.5 million, the public outcry against the company will result in contractors opting to go elsewhere for their voting systems in the future.

He believes: “Whenever the next time a customer chooses to buy a new system—because every eight years or so, you replace your voting system for obsolescence and for certification issues—they’ll just say, ‘Man, it’s just not worth going through the hassle just to buy Dominion.’”

One example of this loss of confidence was the recent decision of Shasta County, California, to abruptly end its contract with Dominion.

Poulos told Time magazine, “by accusing us of the greatest American crime in history, it turned us, as one of our customers has described, as the most demonized brand in the United States.”

“Eventually, I suspect all of our customers will go a different direction… it’s just a matter of time,” he added.

The company had originally demanded $1.6bn from Fox, a figure 42 times larger than what its parent firm Staple Street Capital paid to acquire it in 2018. Dominion revenues for 2022 were forecast at $98 million.

Bakhmut Falls.

Despite over nine months of repelling many Russia military and mercenary incursions, the city of Bakhmut in eastern Ukraine is believed to have fallen into the hands of Vladimir Putin’s forces. Billions of western aid dollars have flowed into President Zelensky’s country, though questions remain as to whether or not much of the cash has been reaching its intended targets.

The Russian ‘Wagner’ mercenary group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin said on Saturday: “Today, at 12 noon, Bakhmut was completely taken… We completely took the whole city, from house to house.” The Russian defense ministry concurred, stating: “As a result of offensive actions by Wagner assault units, supported by artillery and aviation of the Southern Group of Forces, the liberation of Artyomovsk has been completed.”

Bakhmut has been the stage for the largest battle of the 21st century, with around 120,000 troops deployed in total, and tens of thousands dead. In March, Ukrainian President Zelensky said the fall of Bakhmut would represent an “open road”.

“We understand that after Bakhmut they could go further. They could go to Kramatorsk, they could go to Sloviansk, it would be open road for the Russians after Bakhmut to other towns in Ukraine, in the Donetsk direction,” he told CNN.

During a trip to Washington, D.C. in December 2022, he called the city “the fortress of our morale”.

Biden Govt ‘Revalues’ U.S. Weapons for Ukraine to Pretend It Hasn’t Spent As Much.

The Pentagon is looking to revalue the cost of the military equipment it has sent to Ukraine, allowing the Biden government to say it has spent less money on the war – and potentially spend even more.

“We’ve discovered inconsistencies in how we value the equipment that we’ve given,” claimed a senior defense official, in comments to Reuters quoted by The Guardian.

The Pentagon originally valued weapons in terms of their replacement costs. By moving to an accounting system where they value weapons in terms of cost when they were purchased and depreciated, they are able to argue military aid to Ukraine has been overvalued by around $3 billion – possibly more.

One consequence of this is that the Biden administration may be able to send Ukraine billions more in military aid without having to go back to Congress, where it is currently in a fight with House Republicans over the debt ceiling.

Not everyone is happy with the accounting trick, however, with Senator Roger Wicker, a pro-war Mississippi Republican, complaining that “[t]he Department of Defense’s change in evaluating the costs of arms sent to Ukraine is a major mistake.”

“Its effect would be to underestimate future needs for our European allies. Our priority should be a Ukrainian victory over Putin,” he insisted.

“Unilaterally altering military aid calculations is an attempt at deception and undermines this goal.”

Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh recently reported that around $400 million in U.S. aid to Ukraine was embezzled by the Ukrainian ruling class last year.
